South-Beach-Cycles (843-671-2453) rents bikes and is walking distance from the condo (next to the Salty Dog), but most all the bike rental shops will deliver. Just google for bike rentals.
Absolutely! There is a bike rack right in front of the building where you can safely park your bike. There is a bike map in the basket under the coffee table. Maps are also available at the stand across from the bike shop and the trolley stop. You can get most anywhere on the island by bicycle.
It is recommended that you bring your own beach chairs and towels; however, you are welcome to use any beach equipment you find in the condo or on the patio. Please keep all the sand outside -especially sandy towels – as the washing machine doesn’t like sand.
Dumpsters are located in the far corners of the parking lot.
The door to the condo has a keypad. Once you have made your final payment, the 4-digit code will be sent to you via email.
Once you have made your final payment, the Network name and Password will be sent to you via email.
Yes! Both TV’s are smart TV’s giving you the option to watch cable programming via the set top cable box or via the TV’s apps or your own Fire Stick or Roku. If for any reason, you are not able to get a TV signal, try unplugging the set top box (at the box, not at the wall), wait 10 seconds, reconnect it and allow it to reset.
The pool is located in the Salty Dog parking lot right next to the trolley stop just a short walk from the condo. It is open from mid-April through September. Daily or weekly pool passes can be purchased at the South Beach Marina Inn.
The latch on the inside of the door lock allows you to go in and out with or without the door automatically locking. It is always set to lock automatically unless you change it.
Like mini-mosquitoes.Sometimes the little gnats are out, sometimes they’re not. Skin-So-Soft or No Natz (sold by most local drug stores) are reliable repellants. Be prepared!
Check out time is 10:00 a.m. Our housekeeper starts early, so please be respectful and be out by 10:00. No need to wash the sheets or towels. Just clean up, take out the trash and pack your car.
There is a Keurig machine on the counter and a drip coffee maker and filters in the cabinet.
You are right next to the Salty Dog where there is great dining, entertainment, shopping and water sports. The Salty Dog Sunset Cruise is highly recommended. Reservations can be made on-line.
